Assessment Skills in Formation

The presentations/inputs/lectures were very helpful to me. I learned many things. I gained more information about assessment in Formation. The case studies also helped me a lot to be able to learn how to assess a particular candidate with the given data. Sharing in a small group was very helpful to me because we learned from each other's sharing. In the practice interview, though I was not the interviewer, I learned something from our group about how to do it.

I really appreciated having the facilitators give the inputs and the dynamics of the whole module, as well as the practical activities individually and as a team. I learned from the sharing of those who had a long experience in formation and those who are starting in formation ministry like me. Examples, case studies, and references to the particular context and precise situation relating to the skills given were all relevant. I've been attending different courses for formators, this is the best I've ever had because it corresponds to all my questions and concerns.

The small group sharings were very enriching. I gained different perspectives on how my fellow formators assess their formands. My group mates were able to share their personal experiences as formands. I liked the individual work plus small group sharing because I gained more appreciation of the desire of each formator/congregation to provide good assessment and intervention to their candidates.
