Enneagram II: Enneagram in Discernment
This course will present ways of using the Enneagram as a helpful tool in doing discernment.
Learning Objectives:
- To identify the lies we tell ourselves and how these lies lead us aways from our authentic / true self, giving rise to our Inner Critic; the caricature we make of ourselves and how this becomes our identity
- To learn the identity statements of the Enneagram. If identity is at the heart of every discernment, then discernment can only take place from a space of authenticity
- To know how the basic emotions of anger, shame, and fear become barriers to discernment
- To know how we can transform anger, shame, and fear to action, humility, and courage
- To know how the Three Centers of Intelligence can be a litmus test for congruence when faced with several choices
