Assessment Services
Our assessment service aims to help formands and formators make informed decisions and facilitate psychospiritual formation. With the understanding that commitment to religious life entails different needs across stages, our assessment batteries are tailor-fit to each stage of formation.
All assessment batteries include a comprehensive one-on-one interview with our assessment psychologist to supplement the information gleaned from the assessment tests. We remain committed to attending and accompanying both the formands and the formators throughout the assessment process.
We provide three different batteries according to the different levels of formation.
Candidacy Assessment
Our assessment battery for individuals in candidacy allows insight into the individual’s cognitive, social, and internal movements.
It is essential for formators to have an initial understanding of the inner world of their candidates. Such information allows formators to make informed decisions about discerning the commitment to religious life, determining appropriate formation programs, and holding conversations with candidates.
Selected intelligence tests allow for insight to an individual’s capacity to learn, to problem solve, and to be flexible in thinking of solutions to various situations and contexts.
