For beginners in the formation ministry and experienced formators looking to enrich their work, this course introduces formators to Emmaus Center's integral psycho-spiritual approach to formation.

Learning Objectives:

To identify key components and processes of the Emmaus formation framework and differentiate the dimensions of Psycho-spiritual Integration (PSI)
To apply perspectives from psychology, theology, Catholic tradition, spirituality and founders’ charism in the work of formation
To identify models of formation and apply to their personal formative experiences
To define “formative accompaniment” and identify various modes of accompaniment
To identify and assess aspects of the person of the formator: roles, tasks, qualities
