
Fundamentals in Human and Christian Formation
For beginners in the formation ministry and experienced formators looking to enrich their work, this course introduces formators to Emmaus Center's integral psycho-spiritual approach to formation.
Learning Objectives:
- To identify key components and processes of the Emmaus formation framework and differentiate the dimensions of Psycho-spiritual Integration (PSI)
- To apply perspectives from psychology, theology, Catholic tradition, spirituality and founders’ charism in the work of formation
- To identify models of formation and apply to their personal formative experiences
- To define “formative accompaniment” and identify various modes of accompaniment
- To identify and assess aspects of the person of the formator: roles, tasks, qualities
